Bronwen Jesswein

Bronwen is a Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
 
With about two years of experience, Bronwen has supported individuals across different life stages, including college-age clients and teens ages 13 and older. She currently works with adults ages 18 and up, helping clients navigate challenges such as grief, relationship concerns, and trauma.
 
Bronwen believes therapy should feel supportive, genuine, and collaborative. She uses a strengths-based approach, drawing primarily from CBT and ACT, and values reflective listening, authenticity, and humor when appropriate. Her goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged as they work toward healing and personal growth.

Christie English

Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Services with a concentration in Family Services and a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. She is EMDR trained, TF-CBT certified, and holds an IMH-II credential, bringing a strong foundation in trauma-informed and evidence-based care.

With six years of experience in practice, Christie has worked with a wide range of populations, including young children ages 0–6 and their caregivers, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and family systems.

Christie uses a person-centered approach to therapy, focusing on creating a supportive and welcoming environment where clients feel truly heard and understood. She incorporates mindfulness activities and motivational interviewing to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward their personal goals. Christie is committed to partnering with clients in a collaborative way that supports healing, growth, and long-term well-being.

Elizabeth Hoose

Elizabeth holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work and has over four years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from children to adults up to age 65, supporting them through challenges such as grief, anxiety, and depression.

Elizabeth takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness techniques to help clients work toward their personal goals and build skills for lasting growth and resilience.

Terrence Dawson

Terrence holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan–Flint and a Master of Social Science in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. He brings a thoughtful, well-rounded educational background and a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges.

Terrence works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, hurt, loss, and trauma, as well as concerns related to self-esteem, stress, and men’s issues. He also has experience supporting children and families involved in child and family welfare, individuals with emotional and behavioral disturbances, and those coping with health-related challenges, including mental health concerns, chronic illness, disability, and elderly care.

With a broad range of professional experience, Terrence has spent 10 years working in special needs GED tutoring, 5 years in partial hospitalization programming, 3 years collaborating with medical professionals through care management, and 5 years providing individual outpatient therapy. He takes a collaborative, supportive approach to care, creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward healing, resilience, and personal growth.
