Care Monitor (LMSW, LPC, LMFT)

Job Location: Flint - Full Time

Taylor Life Center (TLC) is seeking a passionate and devoted LMSW, LPC, or LMFT licensed in the state of Michigan in a new office! TLC's Care Monitor is responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:



Roles & Responsibilites:

  • Provide operational and/or clinical supervision of case managers, therapists, and/or all other personnel assigned.
    • Conduct interviews for clinical and administrative staff.
    • Communicate areas of accountability and performance expected of personnel assigned.
    • Determine standards of performance as a basis to review the progress of personnel assigned; includes transfers, progressive discipline, and dismissals.
    • Education/Training knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
    • Train new staff in areas of departmental procedures, agency policy, and government or agency regulations
  • Assist Human Resources to ensure all staff are up to date with CMH and corporate trainings and assist with acquiring all required employment documentation, which could include vital credentialing paperwork.
  • Coordinate administrative activities of departments related to providing services, productivity, and/or monitor compliance with the clinician’s unit utilization/authorization.
  • Actively participate in personnel, monitor, community, and payer meetings as needed.
  • Monitor compliance with the therapy contract as needed.
  • Monitor treatment plans and treatment goals.
  • Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process(es).
  • Coordinate services with other treatment team members.
  • Monitor compliance with the clinician’s unit utilization/authorization.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualification & Education Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Pass all regulatory checks

Required Skills:

  • Possess at a minimum a master’s degree
  • Must be licensed by the state of Michigan with an LMSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • Must maintain required training for credentialing for both privileges and third party insurances
  • Ability to acknowledge diagnoses per symptomatology and/or DSM 5
